VERY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE to stay in one of the iconic historic buildings in the heart of Historic Roscoe Village! This 1860's canal era town has a long, rich history (you will find additional information on the village on a pamphlet in the apartment). You will find a full kitchen with dining area, full bathroom, half bathroom, living room, and two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, the other with a queen sized bed. The apartment has Roku TV as well as high speed internet. This charming 3rd floor apartment is located in the heart of Historic Roscoe Village, just steps away from shopping, dining and two wonderful bars. Roscoe Village is a very walkable area - once you've parked, you do not need a vehicle to explore the whole village. We recommend that guests park in front of the building in the nearest available space. We use a key lockbox to offer a flexible self check-in process. A beautiful, historic canal era town with lots to do and see within walking distance.Downtown Coshocton is 2 minutes, Kid's America 10 minutes, Clary Gardens 3 minutes, Lake Park 5 minutes, West Lafayette and Warsaw 10 minutes. South Second Street (5 minutes) is where you will find fast food, pizza, discount stores and gas stations. EV chargers are located across from COTC on N. Whitewoman St. in Roscoe Village. All of Roscoe Village is walkable, and its just a short drive to Downtown Coshocton. The famous Amish Country of Holmes County is also only about a 20-30 min drive away. There are taxi services available in Coshocton if needed as well. Make sure to visit the Coshocton Visitors Bureau located directly across the street from the apartment (at 432 N Whitewoman St) to get tons of local recommendations!

Had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at Maxx's property! It was easy to find, cozy, clean and comfortable! I really appreciated the coffee and filters that Maxx left in the cupboard because I forgot to bring them myself! And we also enjoyed the "sweet treat" he left for us from the candy store that occupies the first floor of the apartment! I'll definitely book this listing or other listings by Maxx in the future! In town working night shift...needed a place that was quiet and peaceful in the morning. Roscoe's Retreat Delivered all of that and more. Even though it's in the middle of Roscoe Village (tourism and shopping) the back bedrooms allowed me to sleep uninterrupted with all that is happening on the streets out front. I have already booked a couple weeks out with Maxx at other rentals...

Great location on the main street of Historic Roscoe Village, above the candy store. Spacious apartment, suitable for entertaining. The A/C works beautifully! Maxx, our host, is a terrific communicator and eager to ensure a pleasant stay.

Roscoe Retreat was magical! Such an unexpected treat in this tiny historical town. I wish we could have stayed an extra night or two. Host Maxx was so attentive and accommodating when I asked him if my two cousins could take the 2nd bedroom very last minute. Loved it!

We had to book a very last minute place due to a family emergency and Max’s place was perfect. Great location, clean place, plenty around, and he was very responsive in accepting the request and providing quick clear communications. Very responsive host! Very nice cleaning person! Roscoe is a beautiful location for daytime shopping and evening drinks. Beautiful outdoor screened in porch so very peaceful.

Maxx was wonderful to work with on arranging this accommodation for our engineers who were training at the local airport. He was considerate and flexible when the arrival time was delayed, and was always quick to respond to any questions. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Coshocton.
