Harbor Master | 2 Bedroom Waterfront on Ohio River

Another great stay with Maxx. We were delighted to book both downstairs units at McKennas Landing for the Sternwheel festival. The proximity to the river is unbeatable (it’s right there!) and we had a great time. Our group felt right at home and having the entire downstairs with two kitchens, two bathrooms, and the full balcony was terrific for our multi-generational family. Thanks, Maxx! See you next year…

Super cute place and clean

Wonderful stay as usual. Great setup and awesome view. This is the only place we'll stay in Marrietta.

We returned yesterday from Maxx's beautiful, peaceful place right on the Ohio River. We loved everything about our stay from the moment we easily checked in. All of the rooms were spotless, the bed comfortable, and a great guide to help us with places to go, and great restaurants to eat at. Now let me get to the best part of all...the view! Where else can you start your day having coffee in the morning while watching a bald eagle catch a fish out of the Ohio River, see coal barges going by, and then enjoy some Baileys and coffee on the deck after a delicious dinner in town. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will just have to come back! Thank you, Maxx, for a wonderful stay. Since teaching Ohio History, coming to Marietta has been a bucket list of mine, our stay here made the trip even better!

We like eating at the Boathouse and this condo was walking distance. Also enjoyed looking out at the river while laying in bed. Lots of room for the 4 of us. Would definitely stay again next time passing through.

The space felt generous for an Airbnb, perfect for traveling with a baby. The views were as advertised and watching the boat traffic on the Ohio River was fun. The immediate neighborhood feels like it’s revitalizing around you and it’s a short drive to historic downtown. Despite having a neighbor in the adjoining unit, it was quiet. There were a few minor cleaning/maintenance items but Maxx was very attentive and was a kind, positive, and proactive host. It’s a good space if you’re looking for some room to spread out, want your own river views, but still want to be relatively close to it all.

We had a pleasant stay at the Air B&B. Beautiful view. I was raised in Marietta so I was used to the river. I moved away last year and stay in Air BB when I visit. But actually staying on the river was special. Our grandson said that outside the air “smelled like the ocean!” I said that’s the smell you get used to living in Marietta. And it’s a very special pleasant smell. We loved watching the barges and the train that runs over in West Virginia along the river. Great sounds and smells you don’t get if you live away from the Ohio Valley.
