Welcome to Historic Harmar House, a charming Victorian home that blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. This beautifully preserved property features 3 inviting bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, along with a spacious kitchen, a separate dining room, and a cozy living room. The third floor offers an additional bedroom with two twin beds. The second floor houses two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and the convenience of an in-home washer and dryer. Outside, you'll find a large fenced-in backyard, ideal for enjoying the outdoors, gathering around a fire pit, or letting your pups get some fresh air. The home’s prime location is within walking distance of the charming shops and restaurants in downtown Harmar, and just a short drive—or a leisurely 10-minute walk—to the vibrant downtown Marietta. Additionally, a picturesque walking trail along the Muskingum and Ohio rivers offers the perfect opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Beautiful home to rent with multiple floors! Love the location and It was adjacent to a museum. Walking distance to downtown. My daughter and I were able to walk around Marietta, Ohio without needing to drive. If you’re looking for the safety aspect, and if it’s any consolation, I was a single female who rented this house and felt very safe!

We all enjoyed our stay in this beautifully furnished, historic home! Lots of fun for the kids--like being in a storybook!

We had a fine time, and we are wishing we didn't have to go. Thank you for everything historical Harmar.

The house was great! It had everything we needed. It is really close to Marietta and shops. We loved the Boathouse BBQ and Busy Bee, which are walkable. Thanks, Maxx, for being very quick to answer questions.

We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again. The location was perfect for visiting historic Marietta. The neighborhood was walkable and pedestrian-friendly, and we were able to park right out front and barely move the car except for a quick Kroger run and when it was time to leave. The home itself was lovely, comfortable, and an excellent value. More than once we said, “We rented an entire home for the week,” especially knowing it cost less than a much shorter hotel stay would have. The master suite bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was useful for evening snacks and meals, and the front porch was a perfect place to unwind. Maxx communicated very well throughout the stay. Check-in was easy, and the details were clear. This is an older home, so guests should expect a few older-home quirks and some neighborhood traffic noise at certain times, but nothing that took away from the stay. Overall, clean, comfortable, convenient, and a great home base for Marietta.

Great place! If you do rent this home bring power strips as it is an older home. Power receptacles are at a premium lol

We had a great time. Travelled with our two dogs who loved the fenced in backyard. Home is old but in good condition with all modern amenities.

Location is solid, right down the street from Busy Bee which I would recommend for breakfast! Just a couple minute drive to the main part of town
